My Skin Is Much Smoother & Brighter After Using These Exfoliating Peel Pads

What are peel pads? 

So, these don’t exactly ‘peel’ your skin immediately or even 10 minutes later. But, they are actually cotton pads that are pre-soaked in glycolic acid, which is a gentle AHA (alpha hydroxy acid). AHAs are organic acids that are mostly derived from fruits, which work on the skin’s surface to fade dark spots, brighten skin, improve texture and reduce signs of ageing.

How do I use it? 

Exfoliation should always be done on a clean and dry face. Plus, since this is a chemical exfoliant, I always make sure I’m doing it at night. Here’s what I do. 

Step 1: Double Cleansing 

A great way to wash off all dirt and grime is to double cleanse. I use our Mon Cherry Dirt Dissolving Cleansing Balm to take off makeup, sunscreen and pollution off my face, and then follow it up with Yuzu Fine Vitamin C Foaming Face Wash to eliminate any leftover residue.   

Step 2: Exfoliate 

I pat dry my face to ensure it is fully dry. Then take out one peel pads from the tub and sweep it across my face, avoiding the eye area. I then flip it over and use the other side just for my neck and décolletage. I then let my face air dry before moving on to the next step. 

Step 3: Sleeping Mask 

The night I exfoliate, my PM routine is very minimal. While you already have the peel pads doing a lot of heavy-lifting, no one is harmed with a hydrating sleeping mask. The changes I noticed in my skin
