SOS Skincare Products That Always Save My Skin

Rainy season, pickles, sugar-y treats, vada pav – this random list consists of things that I love, but my skin hates. Acne-prone and oily skin is pretty moody. Fine on some days and a total wreck on others, managing it is not a child’s play. My skin is frequented by blackheads, excessive oiliness, random dryness, acne and bumpy skin, but our heroes at Quench have been total saviors! I rely on them when time is a crunch and my skin needs an SOS. So, bookmark this article, because we’re sure you’ll be needing them too. 

1. Acne Patches

There is a direct correlation between important events and acne. I had an office party the other day and BAM! I get a zit which is red angry and painful. Until, I slapped on the Mama Cica Zit Away Treatment Patches. These are small adhesive patches that wonderfully conceal and heal acne. I had a big one on the check and a tiny one on the forehead. So, I picked up 2 different sizes and neatly placed them on the zit. Then I went ahead and did my makeup, and by the time I came home and took them off, the acne size had reasonably reduced. 2. 2-In-1 Face Cleanser

We’ve all had long nights, when reaching home and crashing was all we wanted to do. As tempting as it is, I know how terribly my skin breaks out if I do not remove my makeup. The Mon Cherry Brightening Foam Cleanser helps me speed up the process and run to my bed. It is a 2-in-1 oil-based cleanser that removes long-wear makeup, dirt and impurities in one go. I don’t have to follow it up with another cleanser, as it merges both the steps of double cleansing into one! All I do is shake the bottle well, take one pump, massage my face, and rinse off. That’s it. This barely takes 2 minutes and saves me the guilt of ruining my skin. 

3. Exfoliating Peel Pads

My skin is no stranger to congestion. Especially during rainy and winter seasons, when blackheads and whiteheads mark their presence on my nose and the surrounding area, it is the Mama Cica Instabright Peel Pads that come to rescue. It is truly the best skincare product I’ve come across. These are pre-soaked exfoliating pads containing glycolic acid, a gentle AHA that sloughs off dead skin cells. All I do is take one pad and swipe it across my face paying attention to the troubled areas. Then I use the other side on my neck and sweep upwards. This helps minimize pores and thus keep blackheads and whiteheads at a good distance. 

4. Multi-tasking Sheet Mask

I love sheet masks. But I also love clay masks, especially because my skin is oily and acne-prone. Bring the two together in the Mama Cica Mud Dipping Sheet Mask For Oil Control And Clear Skin.
